AQA Geography on Markaroo

What does AQA A-Level Geography (7037) cover on Markaroo?

Both exam papers: Paper 1 (physical geography) and Paper 2 (human geography), including the optional topics, plus geographical skills. The topic tree follows the AQA 7037 specification, so you can revise topic by topic or work through whole past papers.

How is AQA A-Level Geography assessed?

Two written exams of 2 hours 30 minutes, each worth 120 marks and 40% of the A-Level. Paper 1 covers physical geography and Paper 2 covers human geography. The other 20% is the fieldwork investigation, a 3,000 to 4,000 word individual piece of work that your school assesses.

What kinds of question can I practise?

The questions from 12 AQA past papers: Papers 1 and 2 for six exam series from November 2020 to June 2025, 272 questions in all. Many questions use maps, graphs, photographs and data, which appear with the question. Parts whose figure AQA removed from the published paper for copyright reasons are held back.

How does Markaroo mark Geography answers?

Your written answers are marked by AI against the AQA mark scheme for that question, and you get a mark with feedback on what you missed. You can then rewrite your answer and have it marked again, and compare your work with the model answer for the question.

Can I submit my fieldwork investigation (NEA) for marking?

No. The fieldwork investigation is assessed by your school and moderated by AQA, so Markaroo covers the two exam papers only.

Is there a free plan for AQA Geography on Markaroo?

Yes. The free plan gives you your coach, your technique profile and a live predicted grade, 2 written answers marked free, and the first topic of every unit in revision notes and flashcards, including each note's quick-check quiz, which is always free and never uses up your allowance — no card required. Plus unlocks everything from £6.99 a month (add more subjects for £5 each, with a 7-day free trial): unlimited questions and AI essay marking, every topic, all model answers and the rewrite loop.

I'm studying OCR or Edexcel Geography. Is that covered?

Not yet. Geography on Markaroo is the AQA specification (7037) only. OCR and Edexcel Geography are built around different specifications, papers and question styles, so the questions, notes and flashcards here will not match your exams.
